E-Stampede is currently gathering ideas for an online platform aimed at making new media fundraising easier for GOP candidates and grassroots activists. The goal of this project would be to make online fundraising tools more accessible to the broader conservative/liberty movement-regardless of an individual’s access to technical skill and startup funds. We are seeking input from professionals with experience in online fundraising as well as candidates and grassroots activists who can identify functional needs for such a platform. Other GOP groups have worked on such projects in the past, however, we are not aware of any broad based platforms that can unleash the growing energy of decentralized grassroots politics currently building within our movement. I know someone had something like this in 2008 but not sure how well it worked.
